Built Form

For this question we asked "How desirable is the built form depicted above?"  

Those responding to the survey favored built forms with:

• multiple story buildings
• buildings close to the street
• buildings close to each other, or larger buildings with multiple store fronts at street level
• interesting and varied facades
• neo-classical architecture
• Minimal, if any, parking in front of buildings

Those who responded to the survey largely did not like:

• single story or very tall buildings
• buildings with blank or undetailed facades
• large setbacks (buildings far from street, or each other)
• Buildings situated in the middle of parking lots
