The Urbana Civic Center is the ideal location for your next reception, fund-raiser, private party or business meeting.
The Civic Center is conveniently located in downtown Urbana at 108 East Water Street, making it easily accessible from University Avenue, Interstate 74, US Route 45 (north), US Route 150 and Illinois Route 130.
An architecturally unique buidling with over 4,000 square feet of available floor space and ample parking, the Urbana Civic Center can accommodate any size group from a business meeting for 20 to a reception for 350. (See Seating Capacities Chart.) The Civic Center can provide table and chair set-up, podium and stage, piano and audio/visual equipment. A complete kitchen is available for your use.

In order to be issued an Urbana Civic Center Alcoholic Beverage Permit, the following steps and procedures must be completed by the applicant:
Secure a reservation to use the Urbana Civic Center for a specific day and time.
Obtain an application for Alcoholic Beverage Permit from the Urbana Civic Center (attached).
Complete, sign and submit the application along with the $100.00 permit fee to the office of the Urbana Civic Center no later than five working days prior to the scheduled event.
The applicant shall submit an acceptable certificate of insurance for host liquor liability providing insurance coverage to the applicant and naming the City of Urbana as an additional insured.
