Public Art League 2013 Call to Artists
The Public Art League (PAL) of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois is seeking artists to display sculptures in our community. Selected sculptures will be installed in the community metro area and will serve as major visual anchor points, community identity and a statement that creativity and art are of vital importance to our existence in Central Illinois. The Public Art League (PAL) is a non-profit organization that advances public art in the Champaign-Urbana urban areas. Submission due date is June 7, 2013 by 5:00 PM. Artist of the Corridor
Artists living in Urbana are invited to display their work in the City Building for three months. Interested artists should submit an artist statement and three digital images of artwork to the Public Arts Coordinator via e-mail at cmmcclelland@urbanaillinois.us.
Commission Vacancies
There are currently two vacancies on the Urbana Public Arts Commission, the advisory board for the Urbana Public Arts Program. Interested Urbana residents are invited to submit an application to the Mayor's office at the City Building.
