Traffic Commission
The Traffic Commission was formulated as a subcommittee of, and reports to the Committee of the Whole. They deal with requests both from staff and from individual residents of the City relating to installation of stop signs, establishment of “no parking” areas, requests for neighborhood watch signs, and various other matters relating to traffic. All action taken by the Traffic Commission must be approved by the Urbana City Council.
