The Champaign-Urbana International Humanitarian Awards honors significant contributions to international understanding, cooperation, friendship, and development.
The ceremony recognizes the achievements of Champaign County's international commitment to agriculture, hospitality, humanitarian relief, human rights, research and education, trade and business.
The purpose of this recognition is to educate the public about the connections between our local and global communities.
