Vacation Accrual

• After completion of 1 year of service thru 5 years of service: 6 days
• After completion of 5 years of service thru 9 years of service: 7 days
• After completion of 9 years of service thru 14 years of service: 10 days
• After completion of 14 years of service thru 19 of service: 11 days
• After completion of 19 years of service: 12 days

Other Leave

• Sick leave: start with 96 hours; after completion of 1 year of service, accrue 11.2 hours of sick leave monthly.

Insurance

Health Insurance

• Begins on first day of employment.
• Carrier is Health Alliance HMO, which covers Carle Clinic, Carle Hospital, Christie Clinic, Provena Hospital and associated medical providers.
• City pays 100% of employee coverage and contributes $249.00 per month for family coverage.

Dental Insurance

• Voluntary dental coverage is offered through Trustmark.
