Wide World of Urbana Community Concert (an Urbana Arts Grant recipient), Saturday, May 1st from 4:00 – 7:30PM, at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center at 202 S. Broadway Avenue in Urbana.
The City of Urbana, Environmental Management Division, is looking for a company to do case by case mowing of properties that have failed to comply with City ordinances for grass height and weed control.
Proposals will be received until 8:00 a.m. prevailing time on Monday, May 3, 2010.

URBANA—Sister Cities International has awarded a two-year, $115,000 grant to the city of Urbana, Illinois to perform projects that address sanitation, health, and water issues in urban areas of Africa. This project is funded by a $7.5 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
