Beginning 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 21st through 4 p.m. on Friday, December 16th, weather permitting, Lincoln Avenue will have periodic lane closures from University Avenue to the ramps at the Interstate 74 interchange to allow for the installation of fiber optic conduit and handholes.
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Urbana in the lobby of the office of the Director of Public Works, 706 South Glover, Urbana, Illinois 61802 until 1:15 p.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:20 p.m.
All City administrative offices and the Landscape Recycling center are closed to observe the holiday.
