The existing Race Street Bridge over the Boneyard Creek will be demolished and replaced with a new bridge as part of the Boneyard Creek Improvements Project. The City’s Contractor, O’Neil Bros., is projecting that the Race Street bridge demolition will start on March 11, 2013 weather permitting.

O’Neil Brothers will be doing sewer work as a part of the Boneyard Creek Improvements Project. In order to perform bypass pumping while the sewer work is occurring, a portion of the west bound lane of Griggs Street between Race Street and Central Avenue will be closed.
