Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Urbana, Illinois will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2012, in the Council Chambers of the Urbana City Building, 400 South Vine Street, Urbana, for the purpose of receiving public comment regarding an electricity aggregation program plan of operation and governance.
The City of Urbana has contracted with Kinney Contractors to perform concrete pavement patching.
Weather permitting, Silver Street from Cottage Grove Avenue to Philo Road will be closed to thru traffic beginning March 22, 2012 and should be completed by April 27, 2012.
On Tuesday, March 27, 2012 @ 7:05 p.m., the City of Urbana will hold a public hearing in the Urbana City Council Chambers at 400 S. Vine St. Urbana, IL, to accept comments on the proposed amendments to the FY 2009-2010 and FY 2010-11 Annual Action Plans as outlined in the attachment below.

No parking will be allowed along the edge of the street on the day of the work.
Starting Monday March 12, 2012 at 7:00 am, northbound North Lincoln Avenue will be temporarily reduced to one lane from Fairview Avenue to Wascher Drive for curb repairs.

Two lane traffic will be reinstated Friday March 16, 2012 by 4:00 p.m.

Beginning Monday, March 5, 2012, the City of Urbana & Cunningham Township will have applications available for the Consolidated Social Service Funding Pool. Non-profit organizations seeking funds to operate social service programs benefiting Urbana residents may apply. The program year is from 7/1/12 through 6/30/13.
