On Tuesday, March 1, 2011 Busey Avenue between Church Street and Park Street will close permanently to make way for the new Carle Foundation Hospital Patient Bed Tower and Heart and Vascular Institute.
From March 7 through March 18, 2011, Park Street between Coler Street and Busey Avenue will be closed for underground construction at the hospital.

Due to inclement weather conditions, Urbana's U-Cycle curbside recycling collection will not take place on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Wednesday's collection route will be picked up Thursday; hence, collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.
