Notice of Availability for Public Review and Comment

City of Urbana & Urbana HOME Consortium Draft Consolidated Plan FY 2010-2014 and Draft Annual Action Plan FY 2010-2011 will be available for review to the general public between Monday, February 22, 2010 and Tuesday, March 23, 2010.

A public hearing will be held on March 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council chambers at the Urbana City building to receive comments and suggestions on both plans.

The Consolidated Plan is a comprehensive 5-year planning document that identifies the community’s affordable housing and community development needs, and establishes a planning process for prioritizing the strategies. These needs will be considered in determining the use of the City of Urbana’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investments Partnership (HOME) funding. The Annual Action Plan (AAP) is the City of Urbana’s 1-year budget for CDBG Programs. The AAP also includes budgets for HOME Programs by the Cities of Champaign and Urbana, and Champaign County, which make up the Urbana HOME Consortium.
