Race Street Closed Between Nevada Street and Oregon Street

May 11, 2010 - 7:30am - 4:00pm The Urbana Arbor Division will have Race Street between Nevada Street and Oregon Street closed to through traffic for removal of a large Hackberry tree that is located at 702 S. Race Street. This tree is very large and a crane will be used in the removal process.
Vehicle detours are:
- Southbound traffic will be detoured on Oregon Street to Cedar Street to Nevada Street to Race Street.
- Northbound traffic will be detoured on Nevada Street to Cedar Street to Oregon Street to Race Street.
Road closure may be necessary for the same hours Wednesday May 12, 2010 through Thursday May 13, 2010 if weather and or unforeseen complications delay the expected 8 hour task.
