Race Street Road Closure

The City of Urbana is installing a new storm sewer on Race Street between University Avenue and the Norfolk-Southern (N-S) Railroad Tracks. Race Street south of University Avenue to the N-S Railroad Tracks will be closed to all thru traffic weather permitting beginning on Monday August 16, 2010 at 7:00 A.M. to Thursday August 26, 2010 at 5:00 P.M.
All residents and businesses along Race Street south of University Avenue to the N-S Railroad Tracks will be able to access their properties. Thru traffic on Race Street will be detoured to Broadway Avenue by Water Street and University Avenue.
