2010 West Urbana Special Parking Zone Holiday Enforcement
To the Residents of the West Urbana Special Parking Zone:
The 2010 holiday season is upon us and the following enforcement policies are in place for the West Urbana Special Parking Zone:
Thanksgiving Week
No permit enforcement Monday, November 22nd through Friday, November 26th, except for the following streets near the Urbana High School that will be enforced Monday, November 22nd through Wednesday, November 24th.
• 200 – 400 Blocks of Michigan
• 200 – 400 Blocks of Indiana
• 200 – 400 Blocks of Iowa
• 1000 – 1100 Blocks of Garfield
• 1000 – 1100 Blocks of Douglas
• 900 Block of Carle
U of I Break and Holiday Enforcement
No permit enforcement December 20, 2010 through January 17, 2011, excluding the streets near Urbana High School as noted below.
Holiday Enforcement – Urbana High School
Permit enforcement on the following streets near the Urbana High School on all scheduled school days. No permit enforcement December 20, 2010 through December 31, 2010:
• 200 – 400 Blocks of Michigan
• 200 – 400 Blocks of Indiana
• 200 – 400 Blocks of Iowa
• 1000 – 1100 Blocks of Garfield
• 1000 – 1100 Blocks of Douglas
• 900 Block of Carle
Zoning regulations, restricted, prohibited and disabled parking regulations will be enforced. 72 Hour Ordinance Enforcement For residents who will be out of town and leaving a vehicle parked on-street for an extended time, please call our Parking Enforcement Supervisor at 328-8253 to request an exemption to the 72 hour ordinance.
