Urbana Adult Education is proud to announce that Peggy Buck and Sheri Langendorf, Urbana Adult Education teachers, were selected as co-teachers for the Arthur J. Stejskal Teacher of the Year Award.
This honor is awarded each year by the Illinois Adult and Continuing Education Association (IACEA), to educators who demonstrate a commitment to the adult and continuing education profession. The award was presented at the IACEA annual state conference on Thursday, March 10, 2011.
The Urbana Adult Education Program exists to support the lifelong learning needs of our community and provides lifelong learning opportunities to persons 17 years of age and over. Peggy and Sheri have both taught in Urbana Adult Education’s APL (Adult Performance Level) program since the early 90’s, and we congratulate them on this deserving award.
