New Meter Rate Increase

For the first time in 10 years, Urbana parking meters in the Campus and Hospital Districts increased from $0.75 per hour to $1.00 per hour on July 1, 2011.

Meters will continue to accept coins at the following new rates:

• 3 minutes for each nickel
• 6 minutes for each dime
• 15 minutes for each quarter

For every CashKey insertion $0.25 will be deducted and 15 minutes will be added in time.
