Springfield Avenue Closure

The City of Urbana has contracted with Cross Construction to perform milling and resurfacing work on various streets throughout the City.

Beginning 7 am Monday July 25th, Springfield Avenue will be closed to through traffic from Wright Street to just west of Goodwin Avenue and just east of Goodwin Avenue to Lincoln Avenue for the patching and resurfacing of the existing pavement. Weather permitting this closure is expected to be in effect 10 days and Springfield Avenue is expected to re-open by 5 pm Wednesday, August 3rd. The Springfield Avenue/Goodwin Avenue intersection will remain open at all times.
