City of Urbana Welcomes University of Illinois Students

If you brought a vehicle with you please take notice:

Campus area parking is enforced by three parking entities:  City of Urbana, City of Champaign and University of Illinois, depending upon specific locations.

For meters, the parking entity is identified by a logo sticker on the meter. Most meters in the campus area have a set rate of $1.00 per hour. The three parking entities have varying hours of enforcement. Always check the label inside the meter dome that states the hours of enforcement for that particular meter.

Overnight parking is prohibited on some campus streets and a permit may be required in some residential areas. Also, certain streets are tow-away zones after 2:00 A.M. Always check for signs explaning restrictions for the street where you are parking.
