Intersection Closures for Railroad Crossing Repairs - REVISED

August 23, 2011 - 6:00am - August 24, 2011 - 7:00pm Beginning Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 6:00 am through Wednesday August 24, 2011 at 7:00 pm Norfolk Southern Railroad will be repairing the railroad crossings at the following intersections which will be closed to through traffic:
- Romine Street between Hill Street and Church Street
- Busey Avenue between University Avenue and Clark Street
Along with these road closures the following intersections will have interrupted traffic flow for equipment crossing from Tuesday August 23, 2011 at 6:00 am through Wednesday August 24, 2011 at 7:00 pm.
- Wright Street between Hill Street and Church Street
- Goodwin Avenue between Church Street and University Avenue
- Lincoln Avenue between Park Street and University Avenue
- Coler Avenue between University Avenue and Clark Street
- Race Street between University Avenue and Griggs Street
- Broadway Avenue between University Avenue and Water Street
- Maple Street between University Avenue and Main Street
Residents are urged to use alternate routes while these repairs are being made. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
