Holiday Parking in Urbana

Urbana Mayor Prussing is pleased to announce free parking in our Downtown and Campus Business Districts from Thanksgiving Day through New Year's Day. The free parking is limited to two hours per day and meters that are free will be covered with a holiday bag that states free parking.

In the downtown, specific lots and meters are being designated as either free parking or long-term parking. The free meters are for customers of downtown businesses and the long-term meters are for employees and those people needing to park for a longer period of time.

Free parking:  Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 11, Lot 16, Lot 17 and Lot 22.

Long-term parking:  Lot 5, Lot 9, Lot 25 and the parking garage.

Campus free parking: Select meters located at 700 S Goodwin, 900 W Nevada and 1100 W Oregon.
