Lincoln Avenue Lane Closures

December 12, 2011 - 8:30am - December 16, 2011 - 4:00pm Beginning 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 21st through 4 p.m. on Friday, December 16th, weather permitting, Lincoln Avenue will have periodic lane closures from University Avenue to the ramps at the Interstate 74 interchange to allow for the installation of fiber optic conduit and handholes. Two-way traffic will be maintained on Lincoln Avenue at all times while this work is performed.
The City of Urbana has contracted with John Burns Construction Company from Orland Park, Illinois to install fiber optic conduit and handholes throughout various streets in the City of Urbana.
