Holiday Tree Recycling Schedule

January 9, 2012 - 6:00am - January 13, 2012 - 5:00pm 
The City of Urbana will provide holiday tree collection to all residents for 2 weeks this holiday season: The weeks of January 2 and January 9 on your U-Cycle collection day.
Residents must follow these requirements:
- Place tree along curb (on the parkway) by 6:00 a.m. on your regular U-Cycle collection day.
- Remove all decorations, stands, lights and metal from the tree before collection.
- Remove plastic tree bags.
- No tinsel or flocked trees will be collected.
If you miss the curbside collection dates, trees may be taken to the Landscape Recycling Center at 1210 E. University Ave., Urbana, for free recycling.
