2012 Full Depth Concrete Pavement Patching
The City of Urbana has contracted with Kinney Contractors to perform concrete pavement patching. This work should be completed by July 27, 2012.
Pavement patches will be completed on the following streets throughout the City of Urbana:
- Main Street – Maple Street to Scottswood Drive
- Silver Street – Cottage Grove Avenue to Philo Road
- Cottage Grove Avenue – Silver Street to Glen Oaks Drive
- Church Street – from just east of Lincoln Avenue to Busey Avenue
The project consists of concrete pavement patching and some curb and gutter removal and replacement.
Main Street
Weather permitting, Main Street will continue to have periodic lane closures from Maple Street to Scottswood Drive to allow for patch work. Two-way traffic will be maintained on Main Street at all times.
Cottage Grove Avenue & Silver Street
Cottage Grove Avenue from Silver Street to Glen Oaks Drive will be closed to traffic in stages. Silver Street from Cottage Grove Avenue to Philo Road will be closed to traffic in stages. Additional press releases will be issued prior to the beginning of each construction stage.
