Urbana School District's First STEM Enrichment Camp Begins June 4th

Urbana School District is excited to provide students with engaging and exciting math, science, and technology activities over the summer. The two-week program will offer educational activities, including several that have ties to Fine Arts, Social Sciences, and Writing.

 


The STEM Summer Enrichment Camp is designed to provide hands-on exploration in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) subjects, produce engaging and enriching experiences for students, and promote activities that will help students learn critical skills for their futures. Classes are tailored to individual age groups, and include topics such as Nanotechnology, biology, astronomy, engineering, photo journalism, design, and many more.


STEM Enrichment Camp runs Monday-Thursday, from June 4 – June 14. Sessions are held in the morning, afternoon, or both, with lunch provided for students who attend all day. (Please note that registration for 2012 STEM Enrichment camp is closed.)
