November 3rd is the last Market of the season! Be sure to make the Market a priority this weekend.
After 27 weeks, the 2012 Market season is coming to an end. It's been hot, it's been cold, it's been windy and a few times it's been really wet. That's the fun in a RAIN or SHINE outdoor Market. You can see firsthand the hard work and dedication put in by each farmer and vendor. Start your countdown now - the 2013 season will kick-off on Saturday, May 4th. By the way...the 2013 season celebrates 35 years of the farmers market in Urbana!
This weekend you're bound to find beans, greens, carrots, onions, garlic, maybe some tomatoes and definately some potatoes. Besides farm fresh produce you'll find vendors selling fresh, locally-raised meats, terrific goat cheese and gelato, pastries from the area's finest bakers and so, so much more. Be sure to check out the many artisans selling their wares. Everything from up-cycled clothing to jewelry, glasswares to woodworking. You'll find it all at Urbana's Market at the Square.
