Residents of Urbana will have an opportunity to view exhibits and plans of the UC2B Urbana Broadband project at an informal public open house to be held in the Multi-Purpose Room at Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School, 1108 West Fairview Avenue, Urbana, Illinois on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 4:00 p.m.

The Champaign-Urbana Safe Routes to School Project has teamed up with Urbana Public Television to produce this 11 minute educational video designed to educate the public on walking, biking, and school zone safety.

Urbana Middle School invites Parents and students to their annual PTSA Picnic and UMS Open House, next Tuesday, August 23rd at 5:30pm. The picnic will be held in the newly remodeled cafetorium where PTSA members will be selling pizza, water, and soda.

This year, in addition to meeting teachers and teams, the middle school is adding special learning sessions for parents.
