Urbana Sidewalk Snow Removal Requirement in Effect

As of 10:00 am, Wednesday March 26, 2013, the Urbana Public Works Director has declared the sidewalk snow and ice removal requirement in effect for the Downtown, University and South Philo Road snow removal districts. Due to the winter storm, snow has accumulated to two inches or more on sidewalks.

ABC Sanitary - No U-Cycle Collection March 25, 2013

Due to the weather, ABC Sanitary will not be collecting U-Cycle today Monday March 25, 2013.

Collection will resume on Tuesday March 26, 2013 and will be one day behind all week and will collect on Saturday.

Parking Meter Changes Effective Immediately

A problem relating to meter jamming and time theft was recently identified and resolved. As a result, meters will no longer accept dollar coins.
Effective immediately meters will accept nickels, dimes, quarters and CashKey only.

Mathews Avenue Road Closure
