Maple Street will be closed between University Avenue and Park Street on Friday, June 18, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. to install a sewer service line. The street will be open to local traffic. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Weather permitting, the Urbana Arbor Division will close Race Street between Water Street and Griggs Street on Friday, June 18, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
RE: North Broadway Avenue from Oakland Avenue to Kerr Avenue
Illinois-American Water Company will be making an emergency watermain repair on north Broadway Avenue between Oakland Avenue and Kerr Avenue. North Broadway Avenue will be closed to all through traffic on Monday June 7, 2010 at 7:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Beginning Wednesday, June 2, 2010, Goodwin Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Springfield Avenue and Clark Street. Weather permitting, this road closure is expected to be in effect for 3 weeks. Goodwin Avenue is expected to re-open on Friday, June 25, 2010.
The City of Urbana has contracted with A&R Mechanical Service
Due to the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 31, all U-CYCLE collections will be delayed one day the entire week. For example, Monday's route will be collected on Tuesday, and Tuesday's route will be collected Wednesday.

The Urbana Arbor Division will have Race Street between Nevada Street and Oregon Street closed to through traffic for removal of a large Hackberry tree that is located at 702 S. Race Street. This tree is very large and a crane will be used in the removal process.
