Sealed BIDS will be received until 2:00 P.M. prevailing time on JUNE 21, 2011 and opened and read aloud publicly at 2:00 P.M. prevailing time on JUNE 21, 2011 at the office of the UIUC Facilities and Services 1501 South Oak Street, Champaign, IL 61820 for the furnishing of all materials, equipment and labor necessary for the URBANA SECTION - UC2B INFRASTRUCTURE INSTALLATION.

The City of Urbana is planning to construct pedestrian and bicycle related improvements along Main Street from Cedar Street to Vine Street and from Grove Street to Dewey Street.  The City is soliciting proposals for the performance of professional engineering services in connection with the proposed improvements in both segments of Main Street.

The City of Urbana and the Urbana Public Arts Commission are pleased to release a Request for Qualifications to identify an artist or artist team to assist with the design and development of public art as part of the Boneyard Creek Beautification Project, a City project that will create a pedestrian-friendly urban park in Downtown Urbana.

The City of Urbana Environmental Management Division requests bids for removal of grass and weeds from properties that have failed to comply with City vegetation nuisance ordinances. Companies interested in performing these services must submit a completed bid form before 1:00 p.m.
