Boneyard Creek Improvements Project Construction Update
Work progressed quickly on the Boneyard Creek Improvements Project during September 2014.
Work completed in September included construction or installation of: the steps north of the trestle pedestrian bridge plaza; the earth retaining walls and multi-use path between the railroad culvert and Broadway Avenue; the footer for the feature wall; the remaining precast panels for the retaining wall marking the southeast end of the Project; and the security fencing along the railroad tracks. Work also progressed on Parking Lot #25, the sidewalks at the Race Street railroad crossing, installation of an anti-graffiti coating on wall surfaces, topsoil placement, stone veneer installation, stone wall caps, lighting, and irrigation components.
Weather permitting the project is anticipated to be complete by the end of October 2014.
