Need a Recycling Cart?

Need a recycling cart?  As part of Urbana’s curbside recycling program, every single-family through 4-unit household is eligible to receive one 65-gallon recycling cart, called the U-CART.   Click "U-CART Request Form" and fill out the form.  The City  will deliver a U-CART to your home within 5 business days.

Materials no longer have to be separated into paper fibers or containers and may be commingled together in the U-CART.

Materials are separated at a processing facility. This is called “single-stream” recycling.

If you move, please remember to leave the empty U-CART at your home for future residents!
