On January 1, 2012, TVs, computers (including desktop, notebook, netbook, tablet), monitors, printers, computer peripherals, VCRs/DVD players, gaming systems, MP3 players and other electronic items were banned from Illinois landfills.

Countywide Residential Electronics Collection

A fourth Countywide residential electronics collection event will be held on Saturday, November 6 from 8 AM - Noon at The News-Gazette Distribution Center located at 3202 N Apollo Drive, Champaign.  The event will be held rain or shine.  Accepted items include: Televisions, Monitors, Computers, Mobile Phones, etc.  Please see attached flyer for more acceptable items and direction
