Artist of the Corridor Opening Reception: Carichina Women

Join the Urbana Public Arts Program on Saturday, October 8th, 2016 for music and arts activities at Urbana’s Market at the Square! Find us at the Northwest corner of the market between 8:00am and 12:00pm. All programs offered are free, and no registration is needed.
From 8:00am to 12pm, come freestyle with local artist Carol Farnum. She will bring plywood sheets, spray paint, quarts of paint and brushes/rollers, markers, and stencils to let visitors freestyle however they want. All materials will be safe to use, and visitors of all ages are welcome. Carol will provide direction and technical knowledge, and draw images out for anyone to paint.
The City of Urbana Public Arts Program is presenting a free community arts event to celebrate local artists and commemorate the Boneyard. Titled Urbana Celebrates the Boneyard, this event will take place on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Boneyard Creek Improvements Project in Downtown Urbana (corner of Race Street and Griggs Streets).
