Vine Street Lane Closure

Duce Construction will be installing a sanitary manhole in the center turn lane of South Vine Street between Oregon Street and Nevada Street weather permitting from 7 A.M. on Monday January 14, 2013 to 4 P.M. Friday January 18, 2013.  Northbound and southbound lanes will be open at all time and only the center turn will be impacted.

Springfield Avenue Closure

The University of Illinois’s contractor Stark Excavating will be installing a new chilled water distribution pipe and crosswalk improvements on Springfield Avenue between Wright Street and Matthews Avenue.  In order to complete this work Springfield Avenue will have to be closed to traffic.

University and Lincoln Avenue Road Closure

Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will be closing US 150/45 (University Avenue) and Lincoln Avenue at the Norfolk Southern Railroad crossing starting on Monday July 9, 2012. The crossing will be closed for seven to 10 days. The Norfolk Southern Railroad will be replacing the crossing during the closure. Motorists who regularly use US-150/45 (University Ave.) and Lincoln Ave.

Revised Race Street Railroad Crossing Closure
