Spirit treeArt in the Park
Art in the Park is a permanent public art installation designed by internationally-known artist John David Mooney on the corner of Vine and Green Streets in Urbana. Two sculptures are found within Art in the Park: Spirit Tree, a monumental steel light sculpture, and Falling Leaf, a fountain sculpture surrounded by decorative mounds. Mr. Mooney has completed public art commissions thoroughout the world, including large-scale pieces for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, the Vatican, and the University of Chicago.
