Getting Around
Accessability to transportation is a key advantage for Urbana residents and visitors. Urbana is accessible by car (from Interstates 74, 72 and 57), and by air, train or bus. Once here, there are a variety of transportation options, whether they are by foot, bike, Zipcar or public transportation. One of the City Council’s goals is to "Become a multimodal, bike and pedestrian-friendly community that supports sustainable transportation. With a size of 11.6 square miles and flat topography, the City of Urbana is an ideal community for bicycle commuting.
