The City of Urbana is seeking statements of interest and qualifications from professional engineering and architectural firms to assist with the implementation of the City of Urbana’s capital improvement plan from fiscal year 2021 through fiscal year 2023 including surveying, design engineering, architectural design, and construction observation for project work in the following areas:

• Transportation

• Bridges

• Lighting and Signals

• Stormwater Management

• Sanitary Sewer Collection Systems

• Architecture • MEP Engineering

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

• Other Firm Specializations

Statements of interest and qualification will be accepted from qualified firms until March 24, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. CDT.

Statements of interest and qualifications must be submitted electronically (pdf format) to the Urbana Public Works Department, Engineering Division via e-mail to tacowan@urbanaillinois.us with a subject heading of “Professional Engineering & Architectural Services 2021-2023 – Firm Name”

The City of Urbana reserves the right to reject any and all statements received. Selections will be made based on qualifications. The award of contract will be made by the Public Works Director and the decision will be final.
