Request for Qualifications: Professional Engineering Services FY2024-FY2026 (Solicitation 2223-28)
The City of Urbana will receive statements of interest and qualification for the following: Professional Engineering Services FY2024-FY2026.
The City of Urbana is seeking statements of interest and qualifications from professional engineering firms to assist with the implementation of the City of Urbana’s capital improvement plan from fiscal year 2024 through fiscal year 2026 by providing surveying and engineering services for the following work categories: Asset Management, Construction Observation, Environmental Reports, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Geotechnical Services, Highways – Roads and Streets, Hydraulic Reports – Waterways, Lighting, Material Testing, Public Involvement, Sanitary Sewers, Stormwater Management, Structures – Highways, Surveying, Traffic and Highway Safety Studies, and Traffic Signals.

Statements of interest and qualification will be accepted from qualified firms until March 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. Statements of interest and qualifications must be submitted electronically (pdf format) to the Urbana Public Works Department, Engineering Division via e-mail to email@example.com with a subject heading of “Professional Engineering Services FY2024-FY2026 – Firm Name”
The City will select firms based on qualifications for specific projects identified within the City’s Capital Improvement Plan. Critical factors in that selection will include relevance of qualifications to the City’s anticipated needs, relevance of project experience to the anticipated scale of projects in the City’s Capital Improvement Plan, performance on past projects for the City of Urbana, proximity to the City of Urbana, compliance with the City’s EEO requirements, and commitment to meeting the City’s DBE participation goal. The City of Urbana reserves the right to reject any and all statements received. The award of contract will be made by the Public Works Director and the decision will be final.
