City Council Public Hearing Regarding the Annual Budget

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Urbana, Illinois will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2015, in the Council Chambers of the Urbana City Building, 400 South Vine Street, Urbana, for the purpose of receiving public input regarding The Annual Budget FY 2015-2016.

Request for Proposals for Professional Audit Services - CLOSED

The City of Urbana Illinois will receive sealed proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.


PROPOSAL DUE DATE: Proposals will be accepted by the Finance Department until 4:00 pm, local time, on April 2, 2014. All proposals must be received in a sealed envelope with original signatures. No faxed or electronically submitted proposals will be accepted. All proposals received after the date and time shown above will not be considered and will be returned to the Respondent unopened. RFP 2014-FIN-01 is available below, or for pick up at the City of Urbana Finance Department, 400 South Vine Street, Urbana, IL 61801.


The City of Urbana reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive or not waive any technicalities in the proposals, and accept any proposal it deems most favorable to the City.

The City of Urbana is accepting bids to purchase the following item(s). All item(s) must be new, not used or reconditioned.

Items: 75 – 3.4 Ghz Intel Core i5 Computers as specified below.

The computers must be Windows 7 x64 compatible with Windows Install DVD, driver CD/DVD for all components and be FCC 'B' certified. Attached are instructions to bidders, the City's Equal Employment Opportunity (E.E.O.) Workforce Statistics Form, Purchasing Certification Form and itemized listings of the minimum specifications for the equipment that the City wishes to acquire.

Bids will be received until 12:00 noon, Monday, April 15, 2013.
