Are you solar-curious? Join us for a free educational Solar Power Hour presentation! We'll meet at 5:30 pm on Thursday August 30 at Common Ground Food Co-Op in Urbana (address is 300 S. Broadway Ave. #166)
Offered by the City of Urbana, the City of Champaign, Citizens' Utility Board, Common Ground Food Co-Op, and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, home and business owners throughout Champaign, Piatt, and Vermilion counties are invited to participate in SOLAR URBANA CHAMPAIGN, a grassroots program combining volume purchasing with community education to make solar more accessible and affordable.
Regardless of where you live in the counties, you can participate in any of the free informational Solar Power Hours. You’ll learn about the basics of solar, its financial implications for a household, and how the solar group buy program works. After the session, get a free, no-obligation site assessment from the program's competitively selected installer.
