Bids for the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Project (ITEP) roadway resurfacing, ADA sidewalk and curb ramp reconstruction and road diet with bike lanes from Grove Street to Dewey Street at the eastern corporate limits will be received on June 14, 2013.
Construction on all three projects will proceed concurrently and they are scheduled to be completed by late November 2013. Construction drawings for the three projects will be available at the meeting for viewing.
The meeting will be conducted on an informal basis. A brief presentation on the status of the project and the proposed improvements will begin at 6:30 p.m. Representatives of the City of Urbana will be available from 6:00 p.m. until the presentation and also after the presentation to discuss the project.
