UPTV to Broadcast MLK Celebration

Urbana Public Television plans to broadcast the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Countywide Celebration for the 13th consecutive year. This event remembers the life of King and honors those in our community who share his ideals and exhibit a commitment to our community.

This year's honorees included the Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County, Brian Nudelman and Ruppert Alstine Downing.  The keynote address was delivered by Kenneth B. Morris, Jr.

The 14th annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Countywide Celebration will  be shown over the weekend at the following times:

Saturday, January 17th - 8:00 PM

Sunday, January 18th - 10:30 PM

Monday, January 19th - 11:00 AM

Monday, January 19th - 2:00 PM

Monday, January 19th - 11:00 PM
