Maple Street Closure and University Avenue Lane Shift
Date: September 23, 2017 - 6:00am to 6:00pm
Weather permitting; the Urbana Champaign Sanitary District will be cleaning and televising sewers from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 that will impact the streets listed below:
- Maple Street will be closed to thru traffic at its intersection with University Avenue.
- East bound traffic will be reduced to one lane on University Avenue between Maple Street and Ash Street.
Access will be maintained to all properties on Maple Street and University Avenue during the sewer cleaning and televising. Traffic control will be in place to guide motorists through the areas where travel is reduced to one lane.
Motorists are encouraged to drive carefully through this and all construction areas. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this project.
