Vine Street Road Closure

For today only (Thursday, October 26, 2017), Vine Street from north of Main Street to south of University Avenue will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for pavement resurfacing, weather permitting. The Vine Street and Main Street intersection will be closed periodically throughout the day. During the closure of the intersection, flaggers will be present to direct traffic around the intersection.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Alternate routes should be considered, when feasible, to avoid the work area. Drivers should pay close attention the changing conditions and signs in the work zone, obey posted speed limits, refrain from the use of mobile devices, follow direction from flaggers in the area and be alert for workers and equipment in and around the work zone.
