Notice of Proposed Property Tax Increase for the City of Urbana, Illinois
A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax increase for the City of Urbana for 2019 will be held on December 9, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the City of Urbana Council Chambers, 400 S. The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended or abated for 2018 were $7,876,330. The proposed corporate and special service property taxes to be levied for 2019 are $10,325,152. This represents a 31.1% increase over the previous year.
