Celebrate America Recycles Day at Anita Purves Nature Center!

Cost: Free
Activities: Learn about the world of recycling, including safe disposal methods and alternatives to trash. Discover ways to reduce waste, save money and create art from trash. Take a recycling pledge, play recycling games, and enter to win prizes from Urbana's U-Cycle Program!
You may bring the following items to recycle at the event:
- Alkaline (single-use batteries) and rechargeable batteries (No batteries over 2 lbs or car/truck batteries) -- Please tape the terminals of all batteries
- Ink jet cartridges
- Cell phones
- Six-pack ring holders
- Plastic bags
- Juice pouches (i.e. Capri Sun)
