One Summer Day 2012: Taking Steps to Fight Homelessness

Take steps to fight homelessness with the C-U at Home One Summer Day grocery cart walk. Show your support for 7 organizations dedicated to serving the homeless by joining us at Hessel Park in Champaign on Saturday, June 30, 9-11am.

• Austin's Place


• Daily Bread Soup Kitchen


• Restoration Urban Ministries


• St. Jude Catholic Worker House


• The Canteen Run


• Times Center.

We hope you will choose to walk, and we hope that you will bring donations to fill the grocery carts. This is our companion awareness and fundraising event to the C-U at Home One Winter Night sleepout in downtown Champaign in February.
