The City of Urbana’s Draft Sustainable Water Management Plan will be reviewed at the March 21st Plan Commission meeting
The City of Urbana will hold a Public Open House on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Living Hope Foursquare Church, located at 2101 East Washington Street, to provide information concerning the upcoming Washington Street Resurfacing Project.
The Open House will be conducted on an informal basis; no formal presentation is planned. Exhibits, plans and aerial photography of the proposed improvements will be available for viewing during the entire time. Staff from the City of Urbana Engineering Division will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. All persons interested in this project are invited to attend this meeting.
Bids will be received at the Office of the Director of Public Works, City of Urbana, Illinois, for: One (1) Hydrostatic Skid Steer Loader through 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, March 6, 2013, and at said time the bids shall be opened and read publicly.
Specifications may be obtained from the Office of the Director of Public Works, 706 South Glover Avenue, Urbana, Illinois 61802 or in the file attachment below. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or technicalities.
Exciting news! The City of Urbana will be holding a ground breaking ceremony for the Boneyard Creek Improvements Project on Wednesday November 14th at 3 P.M. at the Urbana School District Parking Lot located on the northwest corner of Griggs Street and Race Street. You are invited to attend the ground breaking ceremony for this exciting project.
Parking for the ceremony will be available in the City Parking Lot #25 north of the railroad tracks on Race Street.
In case of rain the ceremony will be relocated to Silver Creek Restaurant’s greenhouse.

The event will be held at the Anita Purves Nature Center (1505 N. Broadway Ave.) in Urbana
