Call For Service Meeting and Listening Session Scheduled

As part of the Community Safety project for the City of Urbana, BerryDunn will facilitate a special community meeting and listening session to discuss the traditional approach to the police call for service model (CFS), and to explore alternatives, trends, and solutions. The community is invited to attend this meeting to learn more, and to share thoughts, idea, and perspectives.

The meeting will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., November 15, 2023, at the Four Square Church, which is located at 2101 East Washington Street, Urbana. All are welcome to attend.

Roundtable Discussion for the Central TIF District

The City of Urbana’s Economic Development Division is hosting a roundtable for Central TIF District businesses on Thursday, October 26 at 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Cloud Mountain Kombucha in Lincoln Square Mall. We would like to have a representative attend from every business in the Central TIF. This is a great opportunity to network and learn more about the City’s business incentives and resources. 

For business outside of the Central TIF District there will be additional roundtables hosted in the near future for your business. Please be on the lookout for services from the Economic Development Division.
